Bangkit Final Project DPS3B Group

Description

This demo uses the Keras with 4 Layers of Conv2D, to learn corn leaf images and predict the disease. Dataset source from Kaggle.

There are 4 types of corn disease that can be predicted here

Northern corn leaf blight (NCLB) is a foliar disease of corn (maize) caused by Exserohilum turcicum, the anamorph of the ascomycete Setosphaeria turcica . With its characteristic cigar-shaped lesions, this disease can cause significant yield loss in susceptible corn hybrid. Wikipedia

Grey leaf spot (GLS) is a foliar fungal disease that affects maize, also known as corn. GLS is considered one of the most significant yield-limiting diseases of corn worldwide. Symptoms seen on corn include leaf lesions, discoloration (chlorosis), and foliar blight. Wikipedia

Common corn rust, caused by the fungus Puccinia sorghi , is the most frequently occurring of the two primary rust diseases of corn in the U.S., but it rarely causes significant yield losses in Ohio field (dent) corn. These can be easily recognized and distinguished from other diseases by the development of dark, reddish-brown pustules (uredinia) scattered over both the upper and lower surfaces of the corn leaves. Healthy If not classified as 3 diseases above, the corn plant can be considered as a healthy
